(in)fertile territories: a performance lecture
A performance lecture centred on the exploration and performance of female gender identity related to subfertility. The key provocation of the work is: how do women diagnosed as infertile/subfertile deal with their emotional and bodily experiences and the ‘hard evidence’ presented to them in medical contexts? Each performance is an evolution of the work, adapting and changing according to reflections and audience feedback and relating to the context of the event. Below marks these evolutions.
